Marie C. Malovitz Level Green

Marie C. Lovre Malovitz, 84, of Level Green, died Sunday, July 15, 2007, in Mercy Hospital of Pittsburgh. She was born Feb. 6, 1923, in Trafford, a daughter of the late Pete and Mary Benich Lovre. Marie was a member of St. Sava Serbian Orthodox Church, McKeesport, and the CFU #541 in Trafford. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph G. Malovitz, in 2000; and a brother, Elmer G. Lovre. Marie is survived by her children, Wayne M. Malovitz and wife, Bonnie, of Irwin, and Diane M. Brady and husband, James, of North Huntingdon; two grandchildren, Ami Zachetti and husband, Jeff, and Nicholas Brady; brothers, Frank Lovre, of Trafford, and John M. Lovre, of Harrison City; and a sister, Lillian Grgich, of Level Green. Family and friends will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the JOHN M. DOBRINICK FUNERAL HOME INC., 602 Seventh St. (Route 130), Trafford. Funeral prayers will begin at 9:30 a.m. Thursday in the funeral home, followed by funeral services at 10:30 a.m. in St. Sava Serbian Orthodox Church, McKeesport, with the Very Rev. Stevan Rocknage officiating. Interment will follow in Grandview Cemetery, North Versailles. Pomen services will be at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday in the funeral home.
